Final-round notebook – Turning Stone Resort Championship
* Robert Allenby, the highest ranked player in the field according to the Official World Golf Rankings (No. 33), recorded his fifth career runner-up finish and second of the season (Stanford St. Jude Championship). He collects $648,000 to move to No. 12 on the official money list, with $3,450,530 – representing the first time in his career he has surpassed $3 million in earnings.* A 3-under 69 on Sunday helped PGA Tour rookie Dustin Johnson capture the Turning Stone Resort Championship – the second of seven events in the PGA Tour Fall Series. Johnson, at 9-under 279, notches his first Tour win by one stroke over four-time Tour winner Robert Allenby (70). His previous best finish was T7 at the 2008 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
* Dustin Johnson collected a career-best $1,080,000 with the win, moving from No. 128 on the money list to No. 41, with $1,715,645. The win gives Johnson a two-year exemption on the PGA Tour, and an invitation into next year’s season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship.
* Champion Dustin Johnson entered Sunday’s final round sporting a 72.86 final-round scoring average this season (190th out of 202 players ranked). He was much better than that at Atunyote Golf Club, with a final-round 3-under 69.
* During a week when rain made the 7,482-yard Atunyote Golf Club play even longer, Dustin Johnson led the field in Driving Distance with a 303.7-yard average.
* Two players (Dustin Johnson and Charles Warren) were able to jump into the top 125 this week at the Turning Stone Resort Championship. As a result, Rich Beem (from No. 124 to No. 126) and Tom Lehman (from No. 123 to No. 127) fell out. The list includes:

Dustin Johnson 1st No. 128 No. 41
Charles Warren T10 No. 127 No. 114
* Vaughn Taylor, who entered the Turning Stone Resort Championship on the bubble at No. 125, finished T15 to move to No. 121 on the money list.

* Ryuji Imada carded a 3-under 69 on Sunday to finish in a seven-way tie for third place. Imada, who won the 2008 AT&T Classic, moves up to No. 12 on the Tour money list.
* Both third-round leaders struggled on Sunday. Charles Howell III posted a 1-over 73 to finish T3, while Tag Ridings finished T27 after a 7-over 79.
* The third-round leader/co-leader has now won exactly half (21) of the 42 stroke-play events on the 2008 PGA Tour, including most recently Camilo Villegas at the BMW Championship.
* J.J. Henry fashioned the round of the day with a 5-under 67, jumping 23 spots from T42 to T19.
* In addition to J.J. Henry, other players with bogey-free rounds on Sunday included Nick O’Hern (68), Mathew Goggin (69), Steve Elkington (69), John Senden (70).
