Fowler has early lead in Orlando
ORLANDO - Rickie Fowler, making his third start as a professional on the PGA Tour, kept his momentum going from a playoff loss two weeks ago at the Frys.com Open as he opened with a 6 under par 66, good enough for a one-shot lead over Matt Bettencourt and Will MacKenzie.The 20 year-old Fowler closed with birdies on five of his last six holes played, including a chip-in from about 40 feet at the last to lead all morning wave finishers. He is hoping to get a high enough finish this week to avoid having to go to q-school to earn full-time status on the tour for next season.
